The Legend of The Ventures begins in 1958 when Don Wilson and Bob Bogle (RIP) met and decided to form a group of rock & roll instrumental. Unwittingly became the instrumental group that has sold more albums in history and a banner of surf.
They are creators of hymns in the surf but other characteristic is that they have managed to do instrumental versions of tracks from other bands and end up in appropriating them. Nobody like The Ventures to make covers.
In 1969, in the middle of psychedelia, they released this album with covers of some popular items at the time.
Here you can listen to "Fire" by Arthur Brown , "Light My Fire" The Doors , "Sunshine Of Your Love" by Cream , "Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf , among others, but now completely instrumental.
